Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s 15-year-old child has debuted their new name – Fin.
The former couple’s middle child, previously known as Seraphina Rose, made their first official outing under a new name at a memorial service for the actress’ father.
They introduced themselves at the church while reading a bible verse and said: “Hello my name is Fin Affleck.”
They were first pictured with a buzz-cut and a bag with the name Fin stitched onto it back in February – hinting at their new name.
Jennifer and Ben share three kids together – Violet Anne, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.
The pair decided to split in 2015 and finalised their divorce in 2018, but have maintained a friendly relationship since.
The Hollywood actress took to Instagram to share the news of her father’s passing last week.
She wrote: My dad passed peacefully Saturday afternoon. We were with him, singing Amazing Grace as he left us (did we carry him across or scare him away— valid question.)”
“While there is no tragedy in the death of an 85 year old man who lived a healthy, wonderful life, I know grief is unavoidable, waiting around unexpected corners.”
She added: “Today is for gratitude.”
Fin is known to be close to their step-sibling, Jennifer Lopez’s child Emme Maribel Muniz, who also uses gender-neutral pronouns.
Ben and JLo got married in 2022.
JLo first introduced her child using they/them pronouns at the LA Dodgers Foundation’s Blue Diamond Gala, where they both performed in June 2022.
