It has been reported that Isla Fisher is “house-hunting in London” amid divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.
In April, it was revealed that the couple who first met back in 2001, have been separated since 2023.
The Borat comedian and the Wedding Crashers actress kept their relationship out of the spotlight for the majority of their 13-year relationship.
Isla is reportedly looking for a new property in Hampstead, north London.
A source told The Daily Mail that the actress has a budget of £13 million and is searching for a forever family home for her and their three children.
Sacha is also believed to be in the process of buying a London house of his own.
A friend told the outlet: “It’s all about the kids and what is best for them; there seems to be no drama at all. Judging by the size of the budget, the family will now be based in London. But Isla is going to keep her place in Australia.”
The couple share daughters Olive, 16, Elula, 13, and son Montgomery, 9.
The 48-year-old is currently in the UK to film the new Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy movie.
Insiders said Isla will play a friend of Bridget’s: “Isla’s real life is inspiring her new role in the Bridget Jones film.
“She plays a single mother who befriended Bridget at the school gates.”
“Isla loves Bridget Jones and is thrilled that she landed the part.”
“Her own experience will help her in the role and it’s great she’s landed such a big part after a really tough time.”
“Isla will start filming this week with Renee and other cast members.”
Renee has reprised her role as the loveable and cringeworthy Bridget for the fourth film in the series, which has been created from Helen Fielding’s books.
As fans of the books will know, Mad About the Boy is set four years after the previous installment – and sees Bridget a widow with two small children, after her husband Mark Darcy is killed by a landmine in Sudan.
