People Magazine have named Michael B. Jordan as this year’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’.
Previous winners of the title include Brad Pitt, David Beckham, Ryan Reynolds and Pierce Brosnan.
The actor made the cover of the publication’s November edition following an online vote which crowned him the title winner.
The annual honour was announced on Tuesday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, with Michael unveiling himself during the show.
Michael told People that being named the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ was a “cool feeling”, explaining: “You know, everybody always made that joke, like, ‘Mike, this is the one thing you’re probably not going to get.’ But it’s a good club to be a part of.”
“When my grandmother was alive, [the magazine] was something that she collected, and then my mom naturally reads it a lot and my aunts as well.
“This is one that they’re definitely going to have a special place for.”

Michael is best known for his roles in Black Panther as villain Erik Killmonger, and his portrayal of fictional boxer Apollo Creed in the 2015 flick Creed.
John Legend was last year’s winner, with his wife Chrissy Teigen joking at the time: “My secret is out. I have fulfilled my dream of having boned @people’s sexiest man alive!! an honor!!!!!”
Kildare native Paul Mescal was hotly tipped for this year’s title, after he shot to fame back in May thanks to his role as Connell in the TV adaptation of Sally Rooney’s novel Normal People.
