Gisele Bündchen has slammed speculation she cheated on her ex-husband Tom Brady.
The former couple, who share two children, confirmed their split in October 2022, after 13 years of marriage.
The supermodel has since moved on with jiu-jitsu trainer Joaquim Valente, who she started dating soon after their split.
During a new interview with The New York Times, the 43-year-old was asked to respond to accusations she struck up her romance with Joaquim while she was still married to Tom.
The mother-of-two replied: “That is a lie.”
“I really don’t want to make my life a tabloid,” she continued. “I don’t want to open myself up to all of that.”
Gisele also addressed the backlash she received after splitting from Tom, and said: “This is something that happens to a lot of women who get blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are labeled as being unfaithful.”
“They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course for me, it just happens to be a little bit amplified.”
“No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people in the relationship.”
Speaking about her new relationship, the Brazilian added: “This is the first time I am seeing someone that was a friend of mine first.”
“It’s very different. It is very honest, and it’s very transparent.”
