EXCLUSIVE! Will the Prison Break cast come back after season 5?

Prison Break is returning for a limited series revival on April 4th, which will consist of nine episodes.

But the cast are far from ruling out the possibility that they may do another season after this.

LAGoss.com chatted exclusively to the stars of the smash hit show at the Paley Center’s season five screening on Monday, where Dominic Purcell told us he and Wentworth Miller are definitely considering continuing the series.

“Both Wentworth and I are open to doing it,” he told us, before adding that they wouldn’t do another season just for he sake of it.

“We want to pay homage to the legend of Prison Break and making sure that the next season, season six, if it indeed ever happens, is worthy of a season six.”

Paul Adelstein (Paul Kellerman) agreed, and said he “loves” being a part of the show, and Rockmond Dunbar, who plays C-Note, would be equally keen on doing more episodes.

“Oh yeah, done deal. Yeah, without question,” he told us, after revealing he got on board with the revival as soon as he heard Dominic, Wentworth and creator Paul Scheuring were coming back.

However Scheuring remained more coy about the future of the show, saying with a laugh, “That will be an easier question to answer on April 5th!”

And Robert Knepper, who plays T-Bag, said we shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves, sharing, “Let’s see what happens with this one.”

Meanwhile Wentworth told reporters: “I wouldn’t rule it out. It depends on how the show does, it depends on a million different variables.

“If Paul Scheuring and Fox come to me with some great idea, some juicy chapter or place in which to drop these characters and make them suffer repeatedly, I’d be open to that conversation, sure.”
