Ewan McGregor and his new girlfriend Mary Elizabeth Winstead have gone public with their romance, one month after they were spotted looking cosy on a dinner date.
Over the weekend, the MailOnline obtained pictures of the 46-year-old and the 32-year-old actress out and about while holding hands in Hollywood, California on Saturday.
Ewan and Mary Elizabeth’s romance came as a shock to fans, as the pair were spotted kissing on a dinner date last month before Ewan had announced his split from his wife Eve Mavrakis – who he was married to for 22 years.
The couple starred together in FX series Fargo, in which Mary Elizabeth played his love interest Nikki Swango.
Ewan’s estranged wife Eve has been laying low in the US with their four daughters since the first pictures of Ewan and Mary Elizabeth emerged.
According to recent reports, Eve feels “sick and furious” at the affair allegations, and it’s been made worse by rumours that Mary Elizabeth had a teenage crush on Ewan.
A source told The Sun, “She is doing her best to handle it with dignity. But what makes it worse is she has been told Mary Elizabeth had a teenage crush on Ewan. I’m sure a lot of people did but they didn’t go and have an affair with him.”
“Mary went to the house once and met Eve and the kids over dinner. She was very cordial. It seemed logical she should get to know Ewan and the family.”
After the photos of Ewan and Mary Elizabeth were published, it was revealed that Ewan and Eve had actually split back in May –Â Â the same month Mary Elizabeth announced her separation from her husband Riley Stearns.
