Nicki Minaj and Kenneth ‘Zoo’ Petty have confirmed their marriage, with Nicki posting a sweet video to Instagram.
The rap queen posted a video of matching Bride and Groom hats to her feed, sharing that the couple wed on October 21st 2019.
The couple only became Instagram official in December of 2018.
Nicki first posted snaps with the 41-year-old in November of 2018, confirming their relationship a month later.
Nicki has hinted that she has known Kenneth for many years, and he supported her before she became famous.
She has also clapped back at those who have been skeptical of their relationship.
The couple’s courtship has been highly criticized by fans of Nicki, due to Kenneth’s criminal past.
The newlywed was convicted of attempted rape in April 1995, and will be listed on the sex offenders register for life.
He also pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter following a shooting in 2002, according to a criminal complaint obtained by The Blast.
Kenneth is from Queens, New York and makes a living as a music executive.
He has shown his love for Nicki by tattooing her real name, Onika, on his neck.
Nicki has also expressed a desire to settle down and have children with her love.
“I’ve decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep reppin me, do it til da death of me … Love you for LIFE,” she wrote in a since-deleted Tweet.
She has also rapped about her desire to become “a mommy.”
