Erika Jayne has accused her ex-husband Tom Girardi of “cheating on her for years”.
The 50-year-old filed for divorce from the 82-year-old former attorney in November last year, after 21 years of marriage.
The singer has been opening up about her “very painful” divorce in the latest season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and in this week’s episode, she claimed Tom was unfaithful to her.
Speaking to her co-stars, Erika claimed she found out her husband was cheating on her after he got into a car accident in 2018.
“I was just assuming he was with some other woman,” she said, adding that he could’ve been with “any of them. You can take a pick.”
“You guys have no idea what I’ve been living through, no idea what I’ve been through. This is my life.”
Kyle Richards admitted she had heard allegations of Tom cheating in the past, saying in her confessional: “There’s always gossip about everybody all of the time. And there was nothing solid, just rumblings. It wasn’t even a solid story.”
“I certainly would never picture Tom cheating on Erika. You have a trophy wife, treat her like a trophy,” Kyle added.
Erika revealed that former RHOBH star Yolanda Hadid’s divorce from David Foster inspired her to take a closer look at her own marriage.
She said: “I never had gone through my husband’s phone, I never touched his papers, I never touched anything. And after Yolanda divorced David, I just opened that phone and I was like wow, OK.”
In her confessional, Erika claimed: “I found the evidence. It’s was text messages, it was pictures. I felt like it was years-long. Well, I know it was.”
The reality star alleged that Tom didn’t deny “being a cheater”.
Kyle asked: “Why did you not leave if you knew he was cheating on you?” to which Erika responded, “Where am I going? … He told me straight up, ‘This is my house.’ Where am I going?”
“I will be OK, but I am not OK right now,” she added.
Tom has never publicly commented on claims of infidelity.
Since Erika filed for divorce in November, Tom has been caught up in a lot of legal drama – and is currently facing numerous lawsuits.
A month after their shocking split, Tom and Erika were sued for allegedly using their divorce to embezzle money.
In December, Tom and his law firm Girardi & Keese (GK) were held in civil contempt over allegedly embezzling funds from several families who lost loved ones in a 2018 Boeing plane crash – and had their assets frozen by a judge.
