Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is reportedly entering the tequila business, and has already trademarked a name for his company.
The action star filed paperwork to trademark the name Mana, which means “spirit” in Polynesian culture.
The ex-wrestler has shared the word before in one of his Instagrams. He shared the progress of his bull tattoo and the story behind it.
“I got this tattoo when I was just a kid. Now I need it to reflect me as a man.
All my ink is a rite of passage and spiritual and the MANA (power and spirit) has to be right before we begin,” he wrote.
The Rock was the highest paid actor in the world in 2016. He dropped to the second spot in 2017, but he has kept busy churning out movie after movie.
Yet somehow, he still found the free time to expand one of his passions into one of his numerous business endeavours.
The 45-year-old has long professed his love for tequila, claiming it’s his drink of choice so it’s a natural fit that he make his own brand.
Fellow actor George Clooney also has his own tequila company, Casamigos, which he co-owns with Rande Gerber, husband to Cindy Crawford and father to supermodel Kaia Gerber.
There has been no comment as to when The Rock will announce the company or when the product will be released, but he is infamous for going all in when he indulges so expectations are high.
