Chrissy Teigen and John Legend honour late son Jack with ceremony

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have honoured their late son Jack with a ceremony.

On October 1 last year, the couple announced they had sadly lost their third child, just days after Chrissy was hospitalised due to excessive bleeding.

One year on, Chrissy revealed she was “finally ready” to have a ceremony in Jack’s honour.

The cookbook author took to Instagram to share photos from the ceremony, which she attended with her mother, husband, and children Luna and Miles.

She captioned the post: “Took me a year but finally honored his little spirit with some blessings today. hopefully some closure in my heart will happen now 😩.”

“Thank you guys for the kind words. It’s a process. Xx,” she added.

It comes after Chrissy paid tribute to her son on National Son’s Day last week, sharing a photo of herself crying in the hospital.

She wrote: “and to the son we almost had. a year ago you gave me the greatest pain I could ever imagine to show me I could survive anything, even if I didn’t want to.”

“I didn’t get to take care of you but you came and went to get me to love myself and take care of myself because our bodies are precious and life is a miracle. They told me it would get easier but yeah, that hasn’t started yet. mom and dad love you forever.”
