Bindi Irwin has posted a touching tribute to her late father Steve, 14 years after his death.

The 22-year-old, who recently announced she’s expecting her first child, took to Instagram to share the emotional message.

Posting an old photo of her and her dad, Bindi simply captioned the post: “You’re always in my heart.”

Steve, best known for his show The Crocodile Hunter, was tragically killed on September 4, 2006, when he was stabbed in the heart by a stingray.

The 44-year-old was filming at Batt Reef in Queensland for the series Ocean’s Deadliest at the time.

Last month, Bindi and her husband Chandler Powell announced that they’re expecting a baby.

In a post shared on Instagram, Bindi told fans: “Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021. Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting!”

“It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you. Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter.”

“We couldn’t wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives. Your support means the world to us.”

The couple wed at Australia Zoo, which was founded by Steve’s parents in the 70s, back in March.
