Beyonce and Jay-Z eschewed tradition at the 77th annual Golden Globe Awards last night.Â
The powerhouse couple brought their own booze to the event, despite high end champagne being provided by organisers.Â
The event was sponsored by Moet & Chandon, but Jay-Z and Bey brought bottles of champagne called Armand de Brignac – nicknamed Ace of Spades.

The bottles were brought in my the couples’ security team, and bar staff provided them with champagne coolers and glasses.Â
Back in 2014, Jay bought out the Armand de Brignac champagne brand, making him the primary stakeholder – so it makes sense that he would not want to be seen sipping on a rival brand.
In a snap uploaded to Twitter, the couple can be seen arriving roughly an hour late to the event.
