Ben Affleck recently posted about celebrating his first year of sobriety.
However, the Hollywood actor admitted that he has suffered a set back when it comes to his sober lifestyle.
The actor was seen emerging from a Hollywood soiree over the weekend looking worse for wear, and appearing to lose his footing due to intoxication, according to TMZ.
However, the actor is not letting his setback get him down – instead he is seeing it as one obstacle on his long road to sobriety.
Speaking to paparazzi as he visited ex-partner Jennifer Gardner’s home today, he said:Â
“Well you know it happens, it’s a slip but I’m not going to let it derail me.”
Over the weekend, Ben had posted about celebrating “over a year” in recovery from alcohol use.
“I have been in recovery for over a year and part of that is helping out others” he wrote.
