A$AP Rocky thanks Kim and Kanye in person after they helped release him from Swedish jail

Rapper A$AP Rocky attended Kanye West’s Sunday Service over the weekend to thank the musician and wife Kim Kardashian West for their commitment to helping him leave custody in Sweden.

He wanted to thank Kanye and Kim in person,” a source told PEOPLE.

“His jail stay in Sweden was such a nightmare.”

A$AP Rocky was released from his detainment in Sweden on Saturday.

The rapper immediately returned to the United States, after being in prison since his arrest on July 3rd.

He was detained following an alleged incident of assault, which Swedish authorities wanted to investigate while keeping the rapper in the country.

Kim and Kanye approached the POTUS Donald Trump to make him aware of A$AP’s detainment.

Taking to Twitter, President Donald Trump tweeted: “Just spoke to @KanyeWest about his friend A$AP Rocky’s incarceration.”

“I will be calling the very talented Prime Minister of Sweden to see what we can do about helping A$AP Rocky. So many people would like to see this quickly resolved!”
