Pierce Brosnan may have been the inspiration for the infamous ‘Blue Steel’ pose in the Zoolander movies.
The James Bond star never appeared in Zoolander 1 or 2, but star of the movie Will Ferrell has suggested he inspired the films.
The Anchorman star who plays fashion designer Mugatu in the movies, said it wouldn’t be crazy to think Ben Stiller took his inspiration from Pierce.

“Call me crazy, which wouldn’t be the first time and I’m just putting it out there — I think Pierce Brosnan could easily be the inspiration for Blue Steel,” he said.
“Look at those blue eyes, just look at those features. Sharp and deadly. Look at the intensity with that face with a license to kill. The similarities are unmistakeable.”
