U2 announce six tour dates for Dublin and Belfast

U2 have confirmed they will be finishing their Innocence + Experience tour in Ireland with six dates in Dublin and Belfast.

The four-piece announced they will perform at Dublin’s 3Arena on November 23rd, 24th, 27th and 28th while they take to Belfast’s SSE Arena on November 18th and 19th.

The news comes after the Edge previously revealed there would be no shows in Ireland as there was no suitable venue for their concerts – however the band’s crew have managed to adapt the stage for the 3Arena.

Confirmed: U2 confirmed they will play six dates in Ireland

“Finding venues to take this show is actually quite tricky and we’re grateful to our overworked crew who finally cracked the reconfiguring to fit these venues,” the Edge revealed last night.

“It was really hard to figure out a way of doing it, but we just had to make it happen,” Bono added.

The concerts will mark the first time the band will perform songs from their recent album Songs of Innocence to an Irish crowd.
