Graham Norton SLAMS The X Factor: 'It has no credibility anymore'

Graham Norton has admitted that he hasn’t watched The X Factor in years because it’s “lost its credibility”.

The  BBC star is not a fan of Simon Cowell’s talent show but revealed he is a fan of the series’ long standing rival Strictly Come Dancing.

“I haven’t watched X Factor the past few years because it just seems so long now – it’s endless,” he said.

The Cork native also divulged that he’s not too impressed with the level of talent on offer on the ITV show.

“Also, the people aren’t very good, so to all the judges’ comments of, ‘I’d buy your album tomorrow’, you think, ‘You’re never having an album’.”

“You wouldn’t throw 50p at them if they were busking in the Tube. I think it’s lost its credibility,” he told The Radio Times.

Meanwhile, Graham said that he counts US actor Chris Pratt, Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke and comedian Amy Schumer among his favourite guests.

Celebs aside, the 53-year-old would love to sit down with former American president Bill Clinton.

“He’s funny, he’s got stories, he’s charismatic, and also now he’s in that unique position of having been president and probably going to be First Man,”
