Colin Farrell dishes on his movie The Lobster: 'Don't ask me to explain it'

Colin Farrell has revealed he finds it difficult to explain his upcoming film, The Lobster, which is described as a sci-fi romantic thriller comedy.

Despite not being able to describe the Cannes award-winning flick, the Dubliner admitted he can relate to the themes in his film The Lobster.

“Don’t ask me to explain it,” he said.

“The film is dealing with the nature of loneliness that human beings experience.

“For me it was a deeply moving experience and the kind of thing I thrive on as an actor. Everything about working on the film was very special,” he told to Hello Magazine.

The father-of-two, who is currently single, has opened up about his love life and admitted it can be lonely.

“It’s not that I don’t get lonely sometimes, but I’m okay about it,” he told Men’s Health.
