Brian Gleeson’s new Iraq-set action-thriller Tiger Raid is set to hold its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York next month.
Directed by Simon Dixon, the flick is based on Mayo man Donnellan’s play Radio Luxembourg and also stars Damien Molony and Rory Fleck-Byrne
The play had previously premiered at the Galway Fringe Festival in 2014 and depicted the story of two criminals, Joe and Paddy in a tiger kidnapping.

In the screen adaptation, the Malahide native plays Joe while Damien Moloney portrays Paddy who are mercenaries who are en route to a mission in Iraq when their past catches up with them.
The movie will screen in the Midnight section of Tribeca Film Festival which runs from April 13 to 24.
