Ireland’s favourite frontman Bono has unveiled his new blonde locks ahead of the band’s world tour.
The U2 singer was spotted filming with US talk show host Jimmy Fallon, where he is reported to be creating a spoof of his bike accident in New York last November.
The 54-year-old rocker recently opened up to the New York Times telling them that he’s still struggling to get back to normal and play the guitar five months after the cycling accident.

Speaking about the incident that left him with multiple injuries, he said: “I really used to think that my head was harder than any surface it came in contact with, and I don’t anymore.
“I didn’t come off a Harley-Davidson. I came off a push bike and smashed myself to bits. There is no glory here,” he admitted.
“It feels like I have somebody else’s hand. I can’t bend these, and this . . . But they say that nerves heal about a millimetre a week, so in about 13 months I should know if it’s coming back.”

Talking about his forearm and elbow, Bono revealed: “It’s all numb here, and this is Âtitanium.”
Not only did Bono get in on the fun with Jimmy but the band performed on the US chat show playing some of their hits including Angel of Harlem and Beautiful day.
The Irish band’s world tour starts in Vancouver on May 14th after being pushed back to give Bono time to heal.
