Room has continued its phenomenal success after grossing over €1 million at the Irish box office.
The critically acclaimed flick has expanded to over 60 cinemas across the country and is expected to continue to perform well in the run up to the Academy Awards on February 28.
Meanwhile in the US, Room has grossed over $11 million, doubling its box-office haul following its four Oscar nominations and is currently playing in over 600 theaters across the country.

Director Lenny Abrahamson is up for Best Director at this year’s Academy Awards for his efforts on the film.
