Sofia Richie’s father-in-law Lucian Grainge named in Diddy sex abuse lawsuit

Sofia Richie’s father-in-law Lucian Grainge has been named in Diddy’s lawsuit.

The lawsuit claims that Lucian “aided and abetted” Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in his alleged sexual abuse.

Attorneys for the Universal Music Group CEO responded to these claims and stated that they are “recklessly false.”

The attornies are also planning on seeking legal penalties on the lawyer who filed the accusations as they are “offensively false.”

In a motion to dismiss all claims, the lawyers slammed attorney Tyrone Blackburn for filing “knowingly false allegations” of criminal wrongdoing “without the slightest factual or legal basis.”

The CEO’s legal team also said they would seek sanctions against him in a future filing.

The litigation lawyer for UMG wrote: “A license to practice law is a privilege, Mr. Blackburn, the plaintiff’s lawyer, has misused that license to self-promote, gratuitously, falsely and recklessly accusing the UMG defendants of criminal behavior.”

The filing came in response to a lawsuit filed last month by producer Lil Rod, who claimed the rapper sexually assaulted and harassed him.

Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, a former producer and videographer for the rapper, filed a lawsuit in New York federal court alleging that for more than a year, Diddy allegedly sexually harassed, drugged and threatened him.

These allegations come after the rapper, whose real name is Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, settled his lawsuit with ex-girlfriend Cassie, who accused him of alleged rape and abuse and was accused of a second sexual assault.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the record producer is seeking $30 million in damages.

Mr. Jones who produced nine songs on Diddy’s most recent album, Love from September 2022 to November 2023, said that while working on the project, he lived with the Bad Boy founder in various U.S. cities, and would also vacation with the 54-year-old outside of the country.

Mr. Jones claimed that during this time, he: “witnessed, experienced, and endured many things that went far beyond his role as a producer on the Love album.”
