Jordyn Woods admits she was in a ‘very dark place’ following Tristan Thompson cheating scandal

Jordyn Woods has admitted she was in a “very dark place” following the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal.

Khloe Kardashian famously dumped Tristan last February, after he was caught kissing family friend Jordyn at a house party.

The 23-year-old got candid about the aftermath of the the scandal, where she opened up about the online bullying and shaming she received.

Speaking to Natalie Manuel Lee on Now With Natalie, Jordyn admitted: “I remember just sitting in a very dark place, and I didn’t really… You know, I had my family to talk to, I had you to talk to but I felt like I had no one.”

“You take everything you think you know for a whole decade, the people you think you know, the life you think you know, everything that you’ve grown up doing – and you take it all away from someone…

“I didn’t even know how to feel,” she admitted.

On getting past the shame, Jordyn said: “I think the first part of that is acceptance. Looking at the situation, and… ‘Ok, what did I do? What role did I play in this? How was I responsible? How can I be held accountable? How can I take responsibility for what happened?’

“Things happen and that’s what makes us human, but just acceptance and accountability and responsibility. I think people in this generation lack accountability, and when you can’t accept what you’ve done, then you can’t heal from it.”

“It’s easy to beat yourself up about things you could’ve done differently,” she continued, “But you can’t hold on to what you could’ve or should’ve done, you just have to accept what actually happened – and then you can let it go.

“Letting go of shame is just learning to accept what’s happened,” she added.

After the initial backlash, Jordyn admitted she deleted “everything” off her phone.

“I wouldn’t respond to anyone, I responded to maybe two people. I pushed people away that probably shouldn’t have been but I just couldn’t trust anyone.”

“Everything in my life changed… It’s easy to make it seem like the world is against you, and in that case I did feel like everything was against me.

“At some point in time, you’re going to go through something that feels like your world is falling apart.

“I’m not happy that people were hurt and people had to go through what they went through, it was a lot for everyone – my family, other families, friends… and not in a million years have I ever had a negative intention to do anything bad to anyone I love.

“So I wouldn’t say that I’m happy that something like that happened, but I’m happy that I was able to become who I am today.”

Khloe and Tristan recently decided to rekindle their romance, which has raised a lot of eyebrows due to their rocky history.

A source told Us Weekly: “At this point, Khloé doesn’t really care about any backlash from fans about her being back together with Tristan.”

“She has already been through that ringer and accepts that some fans are always going to have their own, often negative, opinion.”

The insider said Khloe is only concerned about “her little girl and raising her with her father, having him in her life, figuring out things with Tristan and having a healthy relationship dynamic across the board.”
