Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard had an “awkward” reunion on the ITV Palooza pink carpet last night.
The former couple’s romance played out on TV screens across the nation during the summer, as the pair got together and then split on Love Island, with Curtis moving on to Irish model Maura Higgins after Amy left the show.
All three attended the TV event last night, with Amy and Curtis sharing a hug and a moment in front of the cameras as Curtis played host for Lorraine.
Describing the encounter as “awkward,” Amy said:
“It always is when you bump into an ex – never mind getting interviewed by them!”
“He grabbed me for an interview because he’s working the red carpet. I fumbled my words because I didn’t expect to see him.”
“It was a bit awkward!”
On Lorraine this morning, Lorriane and fashion correspondent Mark Heyes also claimed that there was tension between the pair.
Mark said:Â Â “There was an awkward moment though when he met his ex Amy on the red carpet. Here’s what happened.”
He then rolled the clip of them hugging and chit-chatting.
“They styled it out quite well, but there’s obviously a little bit of tension but it was okay,” said Lorraine.
On the same pink carpet, Maura revealed that her previous comments about marrying Curtis were taken out of context.
