This year saw the rise of multiple stars in Ireland, from the new Snapchat celebs to models and TV presenters.
Former Rose of Tralee Maria Walsh made her debut as a TV presenter this year, while model Thalia Heffernan has quickly established herself of one of Ireland’s top models.
James Patrice and James Kavanagh have taken over the world of Snapchat, and Louis Walsh’s boyband Hometown stormed the charts as well as getting a huge plug from One Direction star Liam Payne and Dublin actress Aisling Franciosi has seen her star rise since starring in The Fall.
It’s also been a great year for RTE’s Blathniad Treacy who just landed her very own show on 2FM. Tracy Clifford is also getting her moment in 2FM, while Nicola Hughes has gone from model to reality star thanks to her role in Made In Chelsea.
And Roisin O is set to be huge in the year ahead, with a special performance at the prestigious Oscar Wilde party during Oscars week next month.
