Blindboy Boatclub has impressed on The Late Late Show once again, as people are calling for him to run for President.
As one half of The Rubberbandits comedy duo, he was previously praised for speaking out about mental health, and for revealing his own struggle with anxiety and depression as a teenager.
The Limerick native was on the show tonight to promote his new RTÉ2 series The Rubberbandits’ Guide to Everything, but also took time to express his strong views on the need to tackle mental health in Ireland.
From explaining the term “gasc*ntism”, getting candid about important social issues facing Irish people in 2016, and making an incredibly important speech about how young Irish men need feminism, people REALLY loved what he had to say:
Blindboy @Rubberbandits speaks more sense than anyone else on tv. Simple as #latelate

Lads the @Rubberbandits view on feminism.
Can we please engrave this into the foundations of society.
So much truth and realness. #LateLate— Kelley Bückley (@KerplunkItKel) November 18, 2016
