Singer Gavin James has revealed he’s still in touch with international star Ed Sheeran.
Ed famously told record companies they were missing out if they didn’t sign Gavin, and now the Dubliner has become a success all over the world.
“He’s a good lad he’s so nice,” Gavin told Goss.ie.
“I met him in Dublin once and we’ve kept in touch ever since,” he revealed.
“I think everyone does, we just bump into each other. I talk to him ever so often.”
Speaking at 98FM’s Naked Breakfast, Gavin added that he loved touring with Sam Smith: “He’s great, he’s really fun, I really enjoyed it.”

And the Dubliner opened up about the success of his debut solo album. “It’s been brilliant,” he told Goss.ie.
“I only released a live album and I think people are just used to hearing me just with a guitar.
“So now people can hear the album with so much more production. I’m delighted with it.”

And the busy musician admitted he’s home for Christmas – but he isn’t taking much of a break.
“I’m doing all the Whelan’s gigs in Dublin. That’s a break,” he laughed.
“Then I’m off on the 24th and I’m back again on the 1st (of January).
“I haven’t been home, I’ve loads of nieces and nephews so I love getting home for a little bit,” he added.
