The couple were first spotted together at a Golden Globes afterparty in January and have since been spotted together many times.
According to Page Six the celebs decided to end their relationship, as Kate was reportedly struggling with all the attention on their romance.
“Even though Kate has been in Hollywood for a long time, she struggled with the attention on her relationship with Pete. He lives his life with his heart on his sleeve,” the source said.
Meanwhile, a source told E! News that their relationship simply “ran its course” but added that the pair are still on good terms.
“They still talk and are very friendly,” they said.
