Beauty and the Beast has become the most successful live-action musical feature of all time.
The Disney re-boot, starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens, has become the highest-grossing of it’s kind of all time – already crossing the $1 billion mark.
The magical movie is 2017’s top-earning picture, beating it’s competitor Logan.
Beauty and the Beast has already beaten Grease, which brought in $188.8 million domestically.
The movie’s impressive results at the Box Office comes after Disney revealed its best box office year on the books in 2016, earning over $3 billion between 16 releases (including Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) to pass the $2,278.6 billion domestic record.
