Actress Deirdre O’Kane has admitted she doesn’t want her children to follow in her footsteps.
The stand-up comedian revealed that her children are already showing an interest in acting and said she is hoping they won’t try and make it as actors.
“I dread the thought that either of my children might go into this business it’s heart ache most of the time,” she admitted.

Talking to Ray D’Arcy on The Ray D’Arcy Show the Noble star revealed she is moving back home from London.
“It’s just time, Ireland is a very tough country to leave…we have such a strong identity. I think I’ve just had enough I really miss the mayhem,” she explained.
Deirdre is currently back in Dublin for her new show in The Gaiety Theatre Are You There Garth? It’s Me Margaret
