Meghan Markle’s father reveals plans to fly to the UK for peace talks with his daughter

Thomas claims he hasn’t spoken to Meghan in almost two months

Thomas Markle is considering flying to the UK to make peace with his daughter, Meghan Markle.

The 73-year-old, who lives in Mexico, has claimed that he hasn’t spoken to his daughter in almost two months.

The Duchess of Sussex’s father told The Sun, “If I chose in a month, or couple of months, to go to England — I want to see my daughter. I’m thinking about it.”

“I don’t care whether she is p***** off at me or not. I’m not going to wave flags and make a fool of myself. I’d find a hotel room and try to reach them.”

Thomas revealed his plans to fly to the UK after he publicly begged Meghan to call him in an interview with The Sun on Sunday.

Meghan’s father also said that his daughter looked “terrified” and seemed like she was struggling to adjust to royal life.

He added, “It’s sad that it’s got to this point. I’m sorry it’s come to this. Yes, some of it is my fault. But I’ve already made it clear that I’m paying for this for the rest of my life.”

The retired lighting director also revealed his hopes to meet with members of the Royal family.

“I still want to meet the Queen. If she’ll meet Donald Trump, why not me? I’d like to be treated by the royal family like Meghan’s father.

“I should be regarded with the respect of any other father of the bride.”

When contacted by The Sun, Kensington Palace declined to comment.
