Meghan Markle is all about women’s empowerment and it looks like her feminist streak will be exacerbated, not extinguished, as she joins the royal family.
Kensington Palace has announced that she will make a special appearance with Prince Harry at a women’s empowerment event exactly one month before their royal wedding on May 19th.
This is a topic the feminist bride-to-be has been vocal about throughout her career as an actress.
Kensington Palace confirmed, “On Thursday 19th April, The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry will attend the CHOGM Formal Opening and CHOGM State Dinner at Buckingham Palace.”
“Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle will also attend a CHOGM Women’s Empowerment reception at the Royal Aeronautical Society.”
Her former agent has also recently spoken about Meghan’s passion for this topic.
In 2015 the former actress addressed the United Nation to give a speech about feminism.
