After Thomas Markle Snr revealed he will no longer be attending the Royal wedding, Kensington Palace has released a statement.
Meghan Markle’s father was allset to walk his daughter down the aisle this weekend – but pulled out, after confessing to staging photographs for paparazzi.
Reports claimed the pics raked in €100k, and after admitting it was a set up, Thomas then said he suffered a heart attack six days ago.
“This is a deeply personal moment for Ms. Markle in the days before her wedding,” a representative from Kensington Palace said in a statement.
#meghanmarkle‘s half-sister now says the fake paparazzi pictures of their father, Thomas, were her idea – and the stunt was an attempt to put a positive spin on Mr Markle and the Royal Family, not for money. https://t.co/SeQYUGn6pw

“She and Prince Harry ask again for understanding and respect to be extended to Mr. Markle in this difficult situation.”
DailyMail.com revealed that Meghan’s father did not seek medical attention on the day of his “heart attack” and was instead in his home all day in Rosarito, Mexico.
Two days later he was seen getting two Happy Meals from McDonalds and a KFC, according to the news site.
