Katherine Jenkins claims David Beckham ‘never apologised’ after allegedly slamming her in leaked emails

The singer was "disappointed" by the scandal

Katherine Jenkins has claimed that David Beckham never apologised after he allegedly slammed her in leaked emails.

Back in 2017, a series of leaked emails allegedly written by the former footballer hit headlines – including one he reportedly sent his PR manager.

The alleged email read: “Katherine Jenkins OBE for what? Singing at the rugby and going to see the troops plus taking coke. F****** joke.”

Speaking out about the scandal over a year later, Katherine told The Sun: “You’re just minding your own business and you get caught up in this massive storm. You just think, ‘Aw, I wasn’t doing anything’. To get caught up in that wasn’t pleasant. I don’t know why, again, that was aimed at me.”

“I also don’t feel the need to defend this, by the way. I know what I’ve done and when I got the OBE it was given to me for music, and for charity,” she continued.

When asked if she was angry with David over his alleged comments, Katherine said: “It’s obviously disappointing. I’ve never heard anything from them about it.”

After admitting that she never received any form of apology following the scandal, the Opera singer added, “It doesn’t matter. Priorities are my kids, my family, my singing, my charities and that’s just, white noise in the background.”

When the ‘leaked emails’ hit headlines back in 2017, David’s representatives claimed that the emails had been “hacked and doctored” from a private account.

At the time, a spokesperson said: “This story is based on outdated material taken out of context from hacked and doctored private emails from a third party server and gives a deliberately inaccurate picture.”
