Emmerdale’s Michelle Hardwick announces engagement to show’s producer Kate Brooks

Emmerdale‘s Michelle Hardwick announced her engagement to her girlfriend, and producer of the soap, Kate Brooks.

The couple went public with their relationship on National Coming Out Day on 11th October.

Excitedly revealing the news of their engagement on Instagram, Michelle wrote: “So after months of planning, I popped the question!!! She said yes!!! ???????????????????? #loveislove#noordinaryproposal”

The 42-year-old plays Vanessa Woodfield in Emmerdale, while Kate was recently promoted to joint producer on the soap after Iain MacLeod left to work on Coronation Street.

Michelle previously married Rosie Nicholl in 2015, but the couple announced their split in February 2017.
