Since becoming parents to baby Bear eleven months ago reports are bubbling that Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne’s relationship is under strain.
The first year of parenthood is always hard and apparently it’s no diffrerent for the mega rich.
The former One Direction and Girls Aloud stars have been spending more time apart.
The 34-year-old mum is favouring nights in, in front of the telly with her baby, over fancy events.
However her 24-year-old partner doesn’t seem ready for a quieter lifestyle yet and as a result he has been spending time away from their home.
He even joked, in a potentially immature caption on Valentine’s Day, that he had “the big guy to compete with now” for Cheryl’s attention.
There was much talk about the decade age gap between the couple when they first got together.
Perhaps this is rearing it’s head as an issue now.
A source told the Daily Mail that the “new parents are struggling to find quality time together as they juggle their busy careers” and care for Bear.
The source also confirmed the Popstars winner’s plans for the future.
“There is no doubt she wants more children – but it is fair to say at the moment there is a lot of pressure on both her and Liam.”
Fans have also raised concerns that the pair haven’t been photographed together since October.
Their son’s first birthday is fast approaching, falling on March 25th.
