Ant McPartlin has been spotted behind the wheel again, after he successfully got his driving ban cut short.

The TV presenter got five months taken off the 20-month ban, by completing a specialist rehabilitation course for drink-drivers.

The news comes 15 months after Ant was arrested for drink-driving, after he crashed his Mini Cooper into a family’s car in South West London.

A source told The Sun: “It hasn’t diminished the impact of everything which has happened, and remains fresh in his mind.”

“It’s been a dreadful time and he has many regrets, but he’s very pleased to be getting back to normality too.”

“The course is not something unique to him or his celeb status. Anyone could have done the same. It usually leads to a ban being reduced by a quarter.”

As well as receiving a driving ban, Ant was fined £86,000 in April last year after he pleaded guilty to drink-driving in court.

The 43-year-old returned to rehab and took a year off work, leaving Dec to host I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! with Holly Willoughby.

However, Ant has since returned to his usual TV duties, and will return as the co-host of I’m A Celeb later this year.
