Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field could be set to join the X Factor judging panel as a duo.

The UK Daily Mirror has reported that the 44-year-old singer and the 39-year-old actress will join X Factor boss Simon Cowell on the panel when the show returns in August.

The couple have reportedly signed a £10 million deal, after the departure of judges Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger.

Producers are said to be “over the moon”, as they will be the first married couple to sit on the judging panel.

A source said, “She [Ayda] thinks doing the show with Robbie will be a lot of fun – particularly as she wants to beat her husband at his own game. She can’t wait to get started.”

As for Sharon Osbourne, she will reportedly have a scaled-back role on the show when it returns later this year.

Robbie and Ayda tied the knot at their home in Beverly Hills back in 2010, and have two children together; Teddy, 5, and Charlton, 3.

Ayda was born in California, and starred in US soap Days Of Our Lives. She is now a regular on popular daytime chat show Loose Women, and recently interviewed Simon for the show.

Robbie and Ayda have a legion of loyal fans, thanks to their hilarious antics on social media.

Back in 2014, the former Take That star hit headlines for posting pictures and videos of Ayda while she was in labour.
