Maisie Williams has bid farewell to Game of Thrones in an emotional post.
The actress, who has starred on the show since it first aired in 2011, hinted that she was last cast member to film their final scenes as she took to Instagram to say goodbye to her beloved character, Arya Stark.
Posting a photo of her blood-stained runners, Maisie wrote, “Goodbye belfast. goodbye arya. goodbye game of thrones.”
She continued, “what a joy i’ve had. here’s to the adventures to come #lastwomanstanding #barely#immasleepforthenextfouryears #justkiddingidontsleep.”
Maisie filmed her final scenes after the cast reunited in Belfast for the show’s official wrap party two weeks ago.
The eighth season of Game of Thrones is set to air on HBO and Sky Atlantic in early 2019.
