Yvonne Connolly shared a sweet post about her daughter, Missy, following the teenager’s audition on The Voice UK.

The singer’s audition with bandmate, Georgia Gaffney aired last night and unfortunately the pair failed to make it through to the next step of the competition.

Following the programme, Yvonne shared a heartwarming post about her daughter and said: “So they didn’t get through but so proud of my daughter @missyykeating and @georgiagaffneywho were brave enough to put themselves out there on @thevoiceuk”.

Before her audition, Missy said: “Our families have inspired us so much. I’ve grown up around music, my dad Ronan being in Boyzone.”

“He was my age when he started. So I just want to start my career now and get a move on.”
