WATCH: Vogue Williams on being dropped by brands due to pregnancy: ‘It’s not an illness!’

The model appeared on ITV's Lorraine this morning

Vogue Williams appeared on ITV’s Lorraine this morning, and she opened up about being dropped by brands after announcing her pregnancy.

The TV presenter, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Spencer Matthews, recently revealed that a number of brands cut ties with her after she announced her pregnancy earlier this year.

Vogue said, “I am definitely working with more baby brands because your life does change, but I was disappointed after being dropped by some people.”

“It’s not an illness! People were saying ‘Will she be able to do that because she’s pregnant?’ I don’t feel any different now, apart from that I go to bed at 8 every night!”

The model and DJ, who is six months along, insisted that she will work for as long as she can.

“I’m doing a travel show, documentaries,” she said. “I have to stop on August 4th, that’s my deadline, but it just depends how you feel.”

“I’m not even going to make plans for afterwards. People have been asking me when I will go back to work, but I’ve never had a child so I don’t know.”

The mum-to-be also revealed that she fell pregnant after just one week of trying.

“My morning sickness had gone by 15 weeks. I’m six months – pregnancy is a long time, its actually ten months. But we got pregnant after about a week of trying so we were super lucky.”

The 32-year-old also said that she doesn’t believe in “bouncing back” to your pre-baby body.

“I totally don’t agree with crash dieting or anything like that. I’ve been working with Louise Parker who’s been doing a whole programme while I’ve been pregnant.

“A lot of people are against pregnant people working out, which is bizarre. I feel fit and healthy and I want to stay fit and healthy.

“Obviously you put on weight but that’s what I’m supposed to do, and I’m happy doing it. I’m not going to be in a rush at the end – I’m healthy like that anyway,” she added.
