Leading Irish influencer Louise Cooney has surprised her family by coming home early for Christmas from New York.
The social media star made the move earlier this year, and told her family that she would return to Ireland the weekend before Christmas to spend the holiday with them.
However, Louise decided to serve up an early festive surprise by flying home a few days early and turning up at her parent’s home in Limerick.
Donning a cream fur coat, Louise arrived to her parents house unexpectedly, and knocked on her front door.
Her father answered – holding family pet Winnie – and was delighted with the surprise.
Louise shared the special family moment on her Instagram story to her 183,000 followers.

Taking to Instagram last night, she wrote: “My bags are packed.. nearly.”
“The presents are ready.. nearly.”
“I’m counting down the seconds until I head home for Christmas,” before sharing her journey home.
Louise previously lived in New York in 2014, when she moved over for 12 months.
Louise previously told Goss.ie that she misses her family while she is away from home.
“I think when you’re here in the city on your own and you don’t have your family, you are dependent on your friends a lot more, especially when you’re single,” she said.
