Popular influencer Rosie Connolly has revealed she was diagnosed with post-natal depression after having her daughter Remi.
The mum-of-two had previously told her followers that she suffered from post-natal depression when she had her son Harry.
Taking to Instagram the Dublin star said she had hoped she wouldn’t get the ailment again, but six months after Remi was born she knew something was wrong.
“I was conscious of it this time. I didn’t have any signs of anything…but about six months after I had her,I started to see the signs of it all coming back,” she said on her Insta Stories.
“I was going through a bit of a crappy time, I obviously didn’t share it here.”
“I did go to my GP and I went back on my medication so I was diagnosed with postnatal depression,” she added.
Rosie explained that she has been on and off medication to help with her anxiety for ten years now.
“I have been on medication before that’s really helped me when my dad passed away. Over the years I’ve struggled on and off.
“I’m back on them and I feel a hundred times better,” she assured her followers.
The makeup guru urged 308k Instagram following to “ask for help” if they are feeling down, and explained that she had “reached breaking point” and “couldn’t even hold it in”.
Rosie revealed she was at her GP for her daughter when she started “balling crying” and told her doctor what was really going on.
“It’s what I need right now…just ask for help honestly,” she added.
