TV3 star Alan Hughes’ husband Karl Broderick has been left in a neck brace after taking a nasty tumble in Vienna.
The couple are currently in Vienna to enjoy the festivities of the Eurovision Song Contest – however Karl was rushed to hospital after suffering from whiplash.
The fall happened after the pair watched Tuesday night’s semi-final with Alan taking to social media to share the news and reassure fans that Karl is “all good now”.

“Got a scare last night as karl was rushed to hospital after he slipped on wet concrete stairs at Eurovision,” he wrote.
“He has concussion and whiplash. What a night. But he was brilliant. All good now..hes just very sore. It could always have been so much worse.”
Karl also took to Facebook to reveal he felt like he had “done three rounds with McGregor” after the rough fall.
