Nicky Byrne has revealed that Brian McFadden was working in McDonald’s when the pair first met.
Before Westlife became the worldwide success they are now today, Nicky and the boys were all working normal jobs.
Speaking on The Nicky Byrne Show on 2FM, Nicky revealed how he used to always go to the McDonald’s on Grafton Street when he used to work in a menswear shop in Dublin.
The singer said he had returned to Dublin after playing football for Leeds United and was working close by.
“I always came here for lunch, and do you know who was working as the bodyguard here? Brian McFadden,” Nicky revealed.
Brian left the band to pursue a solo career in 2004 – and has not been included in the Westlife reunion tour.
