Jodi Albert has revealed that she finally wants to change her surname – to Egan.
The mum-of-two, who is married to former Westlife star Kian Egan, has held onto her Albert surname since tying the knot, but now she’s ready to let go.
When asked if her surname was Egan or Albert by Ryan Tubridy while on his Wild Atlantic Way tour with RTÉ Radio One, Jodi said, “It’s Albert, but it should be Egan.”

Speaking about family life, the mum-of-two also explained why they decided to name their son Zekey.
“I was pregnant and I’d recently heard my mother was going to pass in four months and I was a little bit sad and down. And I kind of got obsessed with the letter Z for some reason.
“Then I started googling names and this name came up that meant ‘God will strengthen’. It struck a chord with me, and it was ‘Zeke’.
“We thought Zekey would be the way we would pronounce it as it’s softer, and it was a name that went with our other son, Koa, as well,” she added.
