These Irish stars will perform at the Pope’s visit

With just over a month to go to the Papal visit, acts that will perform during his appearance in Croke Park have been announced.

The Pope will be in Ireland on the 25th and 26th of August and one of the events he has scheduled is the feast of the families event in Croke Park.

Organisers of the World Meeting of Families have said that there are still more acts to be announced but the first few they have revealed should go down a treat with attendees.

Those making their way to Croke Park can expect to be entertained by an orchestra of over 50 musicians, 700 Irish Sean Nó’s and contemporary dancers, and a one thousand strong choir.

Riverdance, Nathan Carter and Daniel O’Donnell are some of the big names that will be taking to the stage in Dublin.

Over 80,000 people are expected to attend the event.
