Irish rugby star CJ Stander and his wife Jean-Marie have announced that they’re expecting their first child.
The 28-year-old was originally born in South Africa, but is now an Irish resident and plays for the Ireland and Munster rugby teams.
CJ took to Instagram to share the couple’s news, writing, “On this Valentine’s day there is no better time to say, our hearts have been stirred.”
“For this child we’ve prayed and our prayers have been heard. With gratitude and excitement we can say there is a Stander baby on the way!”
The couple shared the news with an adorable snap of them with their two dogs.
Jean-Marie also shared the same photo on her Instagram page.
In the photo, a pegboard notice reveals that their baby is due in August of this year.
