Irish band Picture This have revealed that they have signed a huge deal with a major record label.
Duo Ryan Hennessy and Jimmy Rainsford hail from Athy, Co Kildare and are about to make the big time.
The lads revealed that they have now signed a contract with record label Republic – who currently have The Weeknd, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Drake and Hailee Steinfeld all on their books.
“We were in New York for an organised showcase gig, not thinking much of it,” Jimmy told Buzz.ie.
“We had four offers the next day. We organised a meeting with Republic and a few other labels of course. We played for the Republic team in their office.
“We have our own sound and they saw that straight away. It’s raw, real music.
“The lyrics are raw, real lyrics about our lives and the town we live in. They were sold straight away. They loved everything about us,” they explained.
Picture This recently had a successful gig at Electric Picnic and have already gathered hard core fans.
