Irish singer Hozier has just got another career boost after being nominated for his first Grammy Award.
The Wicklow native has been nominated for Song Of The Year, for his smash hit tune Take Me To Church.
Hozier is in a tough category and is up against Taylor Swift, Sia and Sam Smith.
The Irish singer will battle it out against Iggy Azalea’s Fancy, Sam Smith’s Stay With Me, Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off and Sia’s Chandelier.

The Irish singer has had an amazing few months after landing the number 1 spot in the US and performing on a string of hit chat shows including Saturday Night Live.
Hozier found out the happy news shortly after chatting to Nicky Byrne and Jenny Greene on 2FM for their radiothon in Dublin.
The Grammy Awards will air live Feb. 8 from the Staples Center in Los Angeles
